Learning by being told is perhaps efficient and quick but it is definitely not very effective or memorable. Our experiential learning methodology engages people and they learn from their own experiences. Our interventions are hands on, engaging, fun, and exciting. Whatever the content of the workshop, we put in a lot of effort to ensure that our method is always in a ‘learning-by-doing’ mode rather than a ‘listen-to-me’ mode. This ensures the learning is both personal and that the stickiness (retention) is far higher. Reflection, sharing, discussion and solution orientation are essential elements during sessions facilitated by our trainers.
Post each module; there is an action plan drawn up by either the group or individuals. These are commitments that they make to implement the action plan. This is shared with each member of the group, with the overall driver of the intervention and with the line manager. Follow up plans will be derived from these. There is also a program report submitted from our side, after each session.
In order to develop a “growth” mindset, we need to relook at our beliefs. Our methodology:
- Help the participants explore behavioural patterns and reactions in various situations.
- Assess the usefulness of their identified behavioural attributes or traits in a given situation.
- Provide opportunities to identify and challenge the beliefs guiding their behaviour.
