Yet, getting individual brilliant contributors to work together and maximize their overall productivity, is one of the main focus areas for most organisations’. Naturally, it can’t be looked at in isolation. There may be many external factors effecting the productivity. From the time we enter school, we learn to Compete as Individuals. “Positive” competition is very good for the organization but also very rare. “For me to win, someone has to lose”, is ingrained in our “Belief” system. It is built over the years and demonstrated at the workplace.
Aware of how difficult it is to change beliefs, STEPs experience of over 1000 + workshops on “Building Teams”, our powerful and creatively designed workshop, enables participants to explore and reflect on these aspects, while we encourage a valuable change. This program is designed to help participants understand themselves and their behavior while working with others. It is designed to create synergy and camaraderie between team members through emphasis on knowing their team members well -, and demonstrating trust and empathy. The program also reiterates the vitality of effective communication for team to function efficiently. It is often customized with elements that you may perceive could help enhance their performance in a team or lacunas such as conflict management skills, that are required to be covered to ensure team members are in sync and work seamlessly with each other.
Conflict is inevitable. Positive conflict adds value to the organisation, however, most times it is negative and this needs immediate resolution. We create situations that enable participants to experience the impact of conflict, both, on them and the organization. The participants get the opportunity to develop an understanding and acceptance of other views that contribute to building a constructive work environment built on respect for each other.
Through Harmony participants will develop an understanding on their own conflict management style. Besides exploring their own style using a tool, they will learn to adapt their style to be able to provide the best solution to the conflict. This process of unravelling one’s own style and application of the knowledge will be imbibed by participants through contextualised case studies. This program will explore the possibilities of conflict resolution through quick decision making and creative problem solving as well.
